I need to start a campaign to have a CNN-free zone in airports.
Every waiting area in airports...at least MSP and DFW...have CNN turned on. And usually turned on loud.
Last night it was so loud at DFW, you couldn't hear the announcements. I asked the desk attendants if there was anywhere there wasn't CNN and they couldn't think of any place. To make it even more bizarre, the tv screen wasn't even on so it was just the audio.
Plus CNN is all about doom and gloom. Or "Breaking News!" And don't even get me started about Wolfe Blitzer and the so-called "Situation Room" where if someone broke a nail, it is reported as earth shattering.
So who's for a CNN-free zone?
