Cabin fever
I am not the only one experiencing cabin fever. There is still a lot of snow and it is almost April 1st.
Frankie has been asking to go outside. That is not going to happen. It got to the mid-40's today with lots of beautiful sunshine. I had to let Frankie experience it somehow. The bathroom window is.one of his favorite places.

Denver - Spring?!
Signs of Spring here in Denver, Colorado. A rare business trip this week. Back to Denver. Was in the upper 60's today. Got to go for a run. So nice.
It might snow tonight though. And snow forecast for Minneapolis. No surprise there.

Bowling at The Nook
Dave mentioned this neighborhood bowling alley in St. Paul. It is in the basement of the building that houses The Nook restaurant and bar at street level.
This alley is very old school. There are only 8 lanes and no automated scoring. The pin setters are automated so not too old school.
We had fun though I did not bowl very well again.

Lucky7 7k
Trish, Kaitlin and 10,000 other runners ran 7 kilometers. Temperature in the mid-20's this year instead of the mid-teens like last year.
I finished 402nd out of 10,915 overall; 291st out of 2774 men; and 14th out of 199 in men 50 - 59.

100% Irish 5k
Another super fun 5k with friends. This year's St. Patrick's theme was lucky charms (as in the cereal).
Bone Yard or Old Chicago usurper
The restaurant-bar that took over the Old Chicago Uptown site opened on Friday. Rose, Jennifer, Michael and I checked it out.

The dangerous roads and beauty of the lake.
28th Street in front of Isles Bun and Coffee. Pure ice. |
Another shot of 28th Street. |
And then there is the beauty of the lakes. The extreme white snow has been drifted by crazy winds. Many thanks to the brave men and women who keep the park paths clear for us runners and bikers.
