Almost unbeleivable
By the ride home it was messy and slushy. By Friday morning we ended up with 8-10 inches by my estimate. It was a heavy wet snow.
This is past mid-April. I cannot recall getting this much snow this late and
There was some sun yesterday so there was melting but since it got down into the 20's this morning, the stuff is still around.
It is now Saturday and the sun is out again so more melting. It is forecast to snow a bit more tonight then change to rain...we'll see. Then Sunday night more snow!
The drinking fountain arrow at the Mozaic Art Park. The snow Thursday and Friday was wet and coming in sideways. The arrow is supposed to be all blue.

Mr. and Mrs. Duck are back
This pair has been coming to our neighborhood for several years. I'll have to look back at last year's post to see when it was.

April snow storm
I'll try to take a series of pictures today. The first one is my walk to the bus stop. It is kind of blurry because I was walking and it is cold.
The second picture is the office building I work in. Right after I took this there was a flash if lightening and a ling rumble of thunder.
Friday and the snow continues. Third photo is from the backyard patio. Mrs. Rabbit was out and about in the snow.

The rest of cherry blossom visit
My friend Lance and his partner Tony joined us for dinner at a restaurant nearn near Arena Stage. Lance has worked at Arena since 1977.
Mom had a bad fall after this happy photo. We were headed to the car and she didn't see the step off the curb and fell face first. Her glasses broke in two and she has some amazing black eyes.
The flag at Mom's place was faded and torn so we bought a new one at Spade's hardware store. The new one is fade resistant and made out of nylon and guaranteed manufactured in the USA.

Not a cherry tree
While this is not a picture of one of the famed Washington DC cherry trees, or is nonetheless as beautiful and a sign of spring in the nation's capital. It is a tulip tree at my friend Judy's townhouse.

Snow in the backyard - still
Yes, it is Minnesota but even for us this snow is lasting and lasting.
Two months in a row with below normal temps and that last blast of snow a few weeks ago and the freakish amount if shade from the house south of my yard and you can see there is still a good amount if snow.
