I am tired of the rabbits eating my plants and especially my tulip blooms.
Last year Kay recommended marigolds to keep the rabbits away and they seemed to work. I planted pots of them. Now it is too early for marigolds so I'm trying an experiment.
The picture is shows my supplies - my laboratory. I brewed dried marigold flowers and seeds to make a "tea."
I added a little bit of dishwashing soap so that the "tea" sticks to the plants. I sprayed the tea on the tulips and other plants I want the rabbits to stay away from.
To be honest I in not sure if it is working. I may have lost more the blooms but this last spraying seems to have worked better.
